MEET YOUR THERAPISTS AND THEIR TECHNIQUES:

Becky Mokelke is licensed by the State of Illinois, certified through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) and a graduate of the Wellness and Massage Training Institute (WMTI).  Her 788 hours of training at WMTI consisted of Trigger Point therapy, Sports Massage, Pre-Natal Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, On-site seated Massage and Whiplash techniques. Becky began her practice in April of 2000.

Since her graduation she has continued her studies to include 117 hours of training in the St. John Method of Neuromuscular Therapy.  She has also completed her Reiki level 1,2,3 training and Teaching Mastership with Master Teacher Billie Topa Tate.

Becky is an athlete herself. Her sport participations have included triathlons, yoga, pilates, kickboxing and volleyball. Her clientel varies from a World Champion powerlifter and Olympic hopefuls to those wishing to increase their body awareness and flexibility.

Dan Mokelke is licensed by the State of Illinois, Certified by the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals, and has received over 770 hours of training from the Wellness and Massage Training Institute.  His training consists of Trigger Point therapy, Sports Massage, On-site seated Massage, treatment for runners syndromes, and treatments for rotator cuff injuries. Dan has also completed over 20 hours of training specializing is Medical Massage. Dan has been in practice since January of 2006.


TOOLS YOUR THERPIST MAY USE:

Deep Tissue Therapy:

Releases tension in the body through the use of slow strokes and deep pressure applied to areas of contracted musculature.

Trigger Point Therapy:

Used to break the cycle of pain and spasms, by applying concentrated pressures to "trigger point", painful irritated areas in the muscle..

Sports Massage:

Is a vigorous technique that focuses on the muscles relevant to a particular athletic activity or event. It aids in increasing circulation and healing and offers preventive injury benefits.
